About Bubby’s Boy-Tique
Andrea saw a huge gap in the children’s clothing boutique space. Every time she shopped for her sons, the stores were full of pink, ruffles and all things girly. With a small selection of boy’s clothing, Andrea had a difficult time finding unique outfits for her sons. After seeing several of her son’s classmates wearing the same outfit, she had enough. With the encouragement of her boy-mom friends, Andrea took matters in her own hands and started an online boy’s boutique with curated styles.
Meet the Rustenholtz Family
Andrea is the owner of Bubby's Boy-Tique. Her other half is Ben and they have three kids: Braylen (11), Scarlett (2 and their only daughter), and Remi (7 months). As a family of 5, their life can get a little chaotic, but they wouldn't have it any other way.
The Problem
The only problem is that Andrea has no e-commerce experience. She knows what styles boy moms are looking for, but couldn’t get the website to look how she was hoping. She had a difficult time keeping people on her website due to the design.
Cue Fate
I came across a post online by Andrea about her boys-only boutique. I thought the idea was clever and I am always looking for unique gifts to give my nephews. After seeing the website design, I was like....girl, we gotta chat. (Only way more professional.)
Website Before
The original website design was basic lacking clear calls to action and virtually merchandising inventory.
We had a brainstorming session and I went to work. Andrea wanted a modern and chic logo that was also classic. What’s more classic (and stylish) than a bow tie??
I would give you details about the website transformation, but it would take all day. Let’s just say it was a lot of work and a lot of fun!

We created a more visually engaging homepage with banners, product images, and calls to action.
We highlighted the most important products and collections to help guide the path to purchase.
